Five Eight Holdings' Rich Brown always hoped to publish personal stories and lessons learned from his work in real estate. He started first with a way to help young people come to see property renovation and renewal as a rewarding path to success.

Community betterment can happen most powerfully in providing young people with experiences and opportunities to lead positive, productive lives. Rich has served on the board of directors for multiple organizations dedicated to children's welfare, economic empowerment, social services, and education. Pairing this dedication with the passion for his work, Rich went to press on Five Eight Holdings' first children's book.

Rich partnered with JaVon Stokes, a talented illustrator of Visually Stoked Media, to co-write The Real Estate Kids: The Box Flip.

The book is available for purchase below in digital format. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Hartford's Camp Courant, the oldest and largest free summer day program in the country.
